We are hiring multiple coaches

We are looking for experienced and professional Personal Trainers/Coaches.

We are a sophisticated training studio and this is not a role for an inexperienced trainer.

We offer premium personal training services and have a partner and modality specialism list that is unique to BC.  For example, we are the only studio that has certified Instructors in Stick Mobility, Animal Flow, Handstand Training, Calisthenics, Rowing and more.

It is essential that you possess experience and competence in training other than standard resistance training.  Those with gymnastic, movement, mobility, dance backgrounds for example will grow their client base quicker.  You will also likely have national level athletic performance experience and possibly be a kinesiologist or similar.  If you can coach a full handstand syllabus or are a L2/3 certified Animal Flow practitioner, we'd like to hear from you.

We are currently engaging a consultant to deliver some key staff training so its a great time to join and benefit from that professional development.  There is an opportunity to acquire a dedicated professional certification in Animal Flow September at no cost to you.

We are not too concerned about general certification at this juncture.  Frankly, we have had many people apply over the years that have the standard personal training credentials but we find that provides no assurance of their coaching capabilities.  As above, we will train you in-house which is often our default.  If you do have a general trainer certification, then it must be an internationally recognized credential (CSCS, ACE, NSCA, NASM).  Regretfully, the syllabus of local certifications such as BCRPA offer no value to our clients.   We do prefer specialist qualifications such as:

-Kinstretch

-FRCms

-Animal Flow

-Registered Dietitian

-Health Coach

-Kinesiologist

-Physiologist

-Spine Health

-Stick Mobility

-Gymnastics/Calisthenics federations

-Acrobatics/Acro Yoga

Its helpful if you have the ability to train clients in calisthenics. Ideally you will be able to do most of the below:

-Handstand (two-arm, straight, freestanding as a minimum)

-Horizontal push and pull skills to level 5 (Back Lever and advanced tuck or at least single leg Front Lever)

-HSPU

-Planche variations

-Bar and/or Ring MU

But as above, we will train the right candidate over a multi-month mentoring program.
